Man, vaccum tubes just aren't an absolute necessity for good tone but the tone controls are finicky to get in dialed in properly in this model.
I should really learn to play guitar.

Body woods would here if we start nit picking hardware .
Or balanced the way you want- no, you can't have "too much resonance" or tone because the GuitarI would say a Tele body type has a fuller tone and punchier than a strat.

The Furman P-1800. I always wanted to upgrade to a better conditioner or get into a voltage regulator and see how much better my rig would perform. The difference is astounding.
This thing is way beyond the glorified powerstrip and surge protector conditioners...
