Re: Totenkopf figure I used fabric glue too but the hardest challenge that you gonna face is taking the smock off and putting it back! I have some figures with camo smocks, you wouldn't believe how hard to put this on.

Gray SS Officer Schirmutze This is an example of a schirmutze obtained through the SS Kleiderkasse. It has a very simple lining without sweatshield. The chin cord buttons are RZM marked. This cap was one of two discovered about 25 years ago in Austria...

What happened to him? The Totenkopf Division had horrendous loses in Russia and was rebuilt several, beat up, cheap Heer combat tunic.

Discovered along with a tunic, breeches and mantel that had been the property of a Totenkopf.

Stuba Mauthausen to May 1943 in the 4.SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann in Mauthausen, was then transfered to the 1./SS-Totenkopf-Sturmbann Mauthausen and ....
He then moved to 4/SS T.
To 1/ss Totenkopf Strumbann Mauthausen until February 1944.
Re: What are these SS officers up to? Surely nothing sinister going on; they have been chopping wood. From the uniforms and insignia I would date the photograph ca. 1934. When you get the photo, could you post an enlargement of the cuff titles?
