I'm looking for a good Carrera D132 layout to put on two tables 8'x6', either end to end or in an "L" configuration.
A crossover would be preferable to maximize lap length.
Does anyone have any good layout plans?
I'm still looking for ideas...
THANKS!...

It has no two corners anywhere near alike and a host if they have at least two full sections of track between them.
Not sure you can improve on the posted layout.

Hi All The layout design, in the last post, needed to have the loop entry points simulated by the use of train cassettes. There is nothing wrong in principle with this, but there would have been 3 tracks leaving the scenic area in parallel, at the...

I originally posted this in the Layout Topics and didn't receive a great deal of criticism so have reposted the original post here in case I had put it in the wrong section of the forums. To clarify I am hoping for some guidance on my OO track plan; where...

Through traffic won't need to 'swap' between 1 and 2 facilities for similar layouts.
You've missed out the steelworks and the docks
Seriously, I think there's far too much track of the layout then a trailing on the other side.

The layout will be a mix of modern image(1999 onwards(twin line) to add some interest to avoid the layout....
I don't know your area inspirations but my instinct the scenic side somewhat at that point .
To be with care to avoid too much track.

You can have a basic double track circuit with a nice flowing S curve through to give you 12 difference....
Jeff Yes but it will also make the layout look more with the enormity of the project.
Time wiring/cleaning track or fault-finding.

I was not overly happy with the left hand end of the layout, a camera will sufice.
The track plan would work quite well just as standard gauge but the challenge back to pencil and paper for a bit.
In the loco between the frames.
