Minimalist type shoes, you WILL have to watch where you're stepping to some degree.

Folks, I'm after a pair of trail shoes that ideally facilitate a forefoot strike and neutral pronation. I've been wearing Newtons on the road for the last couple of years and will consider the Terra Momentus for off-road...

Glycerins are more neutral than most trail shoes, and manage to avoid the clunkiness of some other shoes are:
Nike Pegasus trail version - plenty of cushioning if spending a lot of time out there.

Me and a friend purchased disc golf specific shoes in march.
he purchased merrils for $120, i got walmarts for $20
we play every day together and my walmarts have held up better than his for way less of a price.

I think when we pony up the big bucks....
I've had cheap shoes that lasted "forever" and expensive shoes last 2 weeks and vice versa.
$20 up to $150.
I've played in all types of shoes.
I'm starting to think it is mostly psychological.
