My boat is a 2009 that was purchased new in late 2010. The tires still look good, but I've been told that trailer tires should be changed every couple of years regardless of wear. What's the general consensus on when to change tires?

The problem is they have less weight capacity than a trailer tire which can be bad on a single axle.
For a tandem you are usually fine with non-trailer tires.

LT tires do NOT have the sidewalls to handle the turns said they couldn't help....
Just gonna get tires from my trailer guy, who always goes out of his way for me and deffinitely knows aren't strong enough for a trailer.

I have a 14ft v- bott 30hp ,and it seems that every year my trailer is going through a set of tires. My toungue height is a little high at 22 inches. I have measured the axle to make sure it's straight and it measures the same at both hubs and the center...

When does one decide that the tires ABSOLUTELY have to be changed out? They are 6 years old. I rarely leave the area, last trip to Murray was like 3 years ago. Do the tires show cracking or something on the side walls? Wally World have Carlisle tires ...

They will creat more trailer tire prob's tire failures cause other damage like fenders adjacent tires and even your boat.
Berrings , un the other hand , NEED to be kept on top of .
