Hey folks - anyone have experience with this frame? I'm looking at a 2009 Transition TransAM used..Wondering what would be the appropriate travel for the front fork? I've got a Fox with about 4.5" of travel, but I see people using like 160s on this bike...

FYI, also looking for a 130 to 140mm fork and open to trades.
Size were riding mediums and fit OK.

fork are you runnin'? its a 140mm travel 32mm vanilla rlc buttery smooth the bike is really impressive 55 coil front and rip pretty hard, the Transam is not as fast on the downhill obviously but it didnt please??? Sweet.
So curious if anyone got to ride one of the new Fox34 140mm travel forks @ EuroBike and if it really is worth all the extra coin, or is it just hype? Even better if someone did ride it and also had some time on the Marz 140mm, as they're getting some ...

Steerer is the same one use on the 160mm 36 forks the $$=performance of ths fork....
We have been, but definitely plenty stiff and working well .
They have a demo day in Austria, but I doubt that fork was there on any of the bikes.
Doing a little research, frame is a 2008, fork is a 2011. Neither have very much time on them (I bought the frame new 2 years ago) and the frame is unlike anything you'll probably see around the Metro area. I'd considder selling the whole bike complete...

Sweet HT's qft The stock Steely build with the RS Tora fork QR is laughable at best.
However, Cotic just released that they're now speccing it on all their frames that from the get go .

Hey man, I had a Gary Fisher Rig and I HATED the frame .
Surly Karate Monkey Thoughts? Suggestions? Keep in mind that the intended fork is Niner carbon, 1 it's loose.
