I am making my first attempt at growing potatoes (Kennebec) using the trash can method vs. hilling:

And does it keep the smell at bay?? I have the diaper dekor in DS's bedroom and every time I toss diaper in it expels the awful smell of yuck! Are you having any luck with yours? I am thinking of moving the dekor to garage for the diapers we change downstairs...

The changing table is right next to the closet and we have a trash can (for the occasional disposable), the diaper pail (another trash can) and the laundry basket all on the floor in there.

Anyone using Thein Separator Lid with a DC? Any users out there? Did you make one that fits into the bucket or as a top hat on top of the bucket? How well did it work as compared to just using the inlet/outlet piping? How much do you think it cuts down...

My own experience with good 2 stage cyclonic separation improvement on the trash can separator designed to keep as much particulate as possible in the trash that it is....
