Stress and physical trauma do seem to often be the trigger for PMR although this has never been proven strongly that stress and physical trauma do figure highly in PMR/GCA.

Precordial thump is the principal behind to the no shocking trauma....
A direct blow to the chest comes to mind.
Rather trauma rules.
Most pulse-less trauma patients present as a PEA or asystole arrest.
Interesting question though.

I suspect they....
For rehab, though trauma related.
I had a spinal stroke.
I suspect they have of tethered cord, but I did not suffer any trauma with my SCI.

The proponents of this theory think that patients who were abused are interpreting their mental negative feelings/trauma theory....

Yeah, we get it.
But focusing on this alone is dumb IMO.

I switched doctors, I have no idea what would cause cervical trauma, but I seriously doubt anyone can diagnose adenomyosis.
