I found a site that is useful if you are travelling abroad and want British baby food, toiletries, nappies, first aid etc to be sent ahead of you arriving at your hotel/villa.

Anyone here ever travelled abroad on their own to race in a half or full marathon? Or in any race for that matter?
By on your own, I mean flying off on your own, racing on your own, not knowing anyone else doing the race and basically having to support...

I am traveling to Vietnam next week and was wondering if I could turn off all the Verizon signals and put it into a WiFi only, iPod mode? Will doing Airplane mode + Wifi on do the trick?

The thing you need to ensure, is "data roaming" is turned OFF to receive all my text messages and phone calls while abroad.
Way? I travel all over the world.
