Although I'm not a cruise rookie, I'm interested in hearing from people who have booked cruises through travel agencies as if its any better than booking on your own. All of the cruises I have taken have been booked independently. I've never had any problems...

In 2008, we booked a cruise with an online TA around until I found a more reputable agency or just book directly with the cruiseline.
If the agency has terrible reviews, stay away.
