Given the recent news headlines about the probabiliy of an Israeli pre-emptive strike on Iran , is anyone else worried about booking travel in Israel this spring?

As far as I can remember there has never been a "safe" time to visit israel if you listen is "As far as I can remember there....

It's possible to travel....
With a US passport you don't need a visa for Israel, provided you are staying less than three months.
Also - if I was to try to get into Israel from Beirut, does anyone the best way to do this cheaply? Thanks again.

I would ask the folks who issue the passports to put a different place of birth when you get his place of birth being listed as Israel.

El Al check-in desk opens within 3 hours of departure and never before that .

I haven't used a travel agent for years! I would where you live.
I (nervously) booked online the best option and then book direct with the airline .
Specials $500 cheaper than the travel agent so there was no contest.
