You're more or less following the SF.
At one end of Embarcadero to Fort Point at the base of the bridge .
Would you drive yourself (and your family) everywhere or how else would you do it? Settle a debate between DH and me. You and the family fly in to, say, LA ....and then what? How do you get around and see the sights if you don't know the city?

If we wanted to do a day trip (like to the wine country from SF), we'd driven in plenty of big cities that....
Just no need for the expense.
