We're goin to the Verandah in April to get married and we want to have the pics and video done but dnt want to take nearly a £1000 pound in USD so just wanted to know if anyone has used travellers cheques at the hotel in exchange for cash?

Travellers cheques are a bit 'old hat' could you use a credit card or pay cash into your debit card and Thomas cook said to take travellers cheques but I don't know if they will exchange at the hotel.

I go to canada [inc the rockies] We travel a lot, and stopped using travellers' cheques years ago - i use mainly plastic and withdraw cash easily enough and tend to stay away from travellers cheques when, will probably....
