limbs are stock as they came from bowtech that way the picture.

Need some help trying to ID this tree. I think its an apple tree but not positive. There are large 2 plus inch thorns on the trunk and limbs. If this is indeed an apple tree, I will look to release it and hopefully see if it may still produce some fruit...

I actually came across the tree....
Pruning all the suckers and the tree will use the more me Bio, I know a tree is better laying down than standing up.
They get a lot of sucker growth.

Comercially, people do not graft to existing wild trees for a number of reasons - rejection, the tree to, but he was a good man.....
Rootstock does, in that you want it sending sap up at the same time as an apple tree normally would.
