If it doesn't, reformat.
Load them all up at the same time and you should kill it .

I wanted to know how i should check if a program is a virus in VMware. Some programs i do need admin ability to install and it makes sense. But how do i know if its doing more then i want? Some thoughts are

I have MSE installed and did a scan recently as I do everyday and well the scan I did recently quarantined a virus the TROJAN:DOS\ALUREON.e The MSE cannot remove it and was wondering what am I supposed to do?

I have a high end virus detection running on my Mac.
Recently I have had many Spam emails with attachments. The attachments had viruses or trogans, most likely Windows ones. When I marked them as 'Junk' there was no issue, then I deleted the Junk mail...

That wouldn't be a virus, however; it might be termed a trojan.

The trojan detected in your email is a Windows Trojan that Kasperky has to have the virus before we can be protected, but try to cover all bases.
It's likely half of your problem.

You shoul perform a scan on your hard disk, perhaps you got infected and the virus infected game? Install a good virus scanner, like avast.

The scan is removing all EXEs
Install a good virus scanner, like avast.

In the past do you have system restore turned on if so sometimes a virus can just load it self back into safe mode and scan it stops virus loading which also helps
