What size trolling motor on a 14 footer Hey guys I just got a 14 foot lund with a 25 hp Johnson on it. I've been looking online at the minnkota trolling motors and I'm thinking that the 30 lb thrust may be enough but the 40 lb thrust isn't a bad price...

Skiff has the Blue Point forward trolling motor arm HB did back then (2001) and I'd rather not get is that the skiff also has another of the same motor arm and cord outlet on the stern making it great on the transom mount motor....
