Just found out I have androgenous type of balding. The derm prescribed minoxidil and if I survive the treatment without any of the nasty side effects, still the best i can look forward to is a few years of regrowth because the scientists say minoxidil...

If DHT controls male pattern baldness, what controls the rest of the hair? I don't mind going bald, but I'd enjoy it immensely if it took certain body hair with it lol

DHT doesn't make you bald, it just acts as a vacuum and sucks your the opposite to the hair on the top of your head and make you go bald.
