I just got one of these in a trade from a fellow TB'er, and I really like it, I don't use it for a ton of overdrive, but it really warms up a solid state head and gives me a great "fuzzy" tone when setting the output on about 9 and the drive around 3....

I use the BK Butler Blue Tube on bass sometimes, mainly as a "warm tube....
October rust is a totally awesome album.
With the drive down its a simple, warm tube preamp with very useable eq distorted bass sound.
I was hoping it would.

As you can see its nice, clean solid rust free, ready for final clean up and paint, even has the mounting screws.
