I have a rather mathematical problem I need to solve:
The task is to cut a predefined number of tubes out of fixed length tubes with a minimum amount of waste material.
So let's say I want to cut 10 1m tubes and 20 2,5m tubes out of tubes with a standardized...

I believe you are describing the cutting stock problem.
Wikipedia has a number of references that might help you find clues to an algorithm that works .
This is known as the Cutting Stock problem.

Whilst these are a great theory I have one question:
The concept is great, you don't need to take the wheel out to replace a tube, you just slide it in at the valve and then round until it overlaps...

So it's a seriously screwed tube only replacement.
Then when one holes and deflates the second tube expands it in a destructive way and use the sidewinder.
It possible to fit two tubes in parallel.

Almost all of use have heard of Ted Stevens trying to describe the Internet with the analogy that it is a series of tubes ( mp3 ). I believe that it likely that some tech person somewhere tried to describe the Internet too him and this was the best analogy...

Tubes for CarverFest 11 Tube Amp Had a runaway tube as soon as I plugged in the amp to give it a play- For the EL84's I got the new "reissue" Mullards made in Russia- should be here tomorrow. Will post results upon listening...

In the market for some light weight tubes, currenly running Maxxis superlights at 125g, but would like something closer to 100g or less if possible.
Anybody know of some good light weight tubes?

I ran 7's with a Carver receiver once, and it was a lovely combo .
Sounds great with a push-pull EL84 amp, too! As long ran tubes with them.
I'm all for Polk 10s and tubes.
