I'm trying to restore an old 5-string I got a few years back and I'm having a tough time finding a bridge for it. Apparantly, at least from what I've been told about it, it looks like it was pieced together some time in the 70's because of the parts used...

It has 4 tuning pegs up top and the D-string is tuned from the bridge.

My ES335 with the 12's seems....
If it's a tuning problem, the majority of the time the problem isn't the tuning pegs, the nut being the main if it needs re-cutting for your string gauge before going to new tuning pegs.

Pianos are difficult to tune but they're fairly stable and don't need to be tuned often unless they're in....

But given windings around the peg head are starting to stretch? It is normal for tuning to be a bit iffy buzz against frets....
And the tuning pegs are of decent quality, it should stay in tune with only a little touch-up.

Hey dudes. My RG7321 stays in tune okay for stock, but it could stay in tune better. What should I replace first? Nut or tuners? Any other suggestions are cool too. Yes I've tried lubricating the nut...

Tuning machines, try some locking Grovers lol it seems to be a huge issue with this guitar auto trims.
Also a couple of the wound string tuners seem to have some issues .
A bit before it actually starts to tune.

yours has press-on bushings, the peg holes must be enlarged, normally.
Maybe a shop near you does, too.
tuning pegs handy.
