Insert the stub in
the center of the....
Repeat if needed for enough string to enter the CENTER hole of
the peg, bend the end of the string at a 90 degree.
Stretch and tune.
Wind the string.
Sharp bend where string exits the peg.

Hi everybody!, i would really appreciate if you can share here your "secret" most effective, most "tuning stable", string winding techniques for vintage slotted kluson type pegs.

I do all of the above but with one exception: I crimp my strings past 90 degrees before I cut are never tuning only one of the strings....
Each string a few times, re-tune, & you're ready to rock n'roll In his useful book "Fender-tune.

Hi
I have a Fender 50s Classic Player Stratocaster and I'm having some tuning problems.
It has Locking Tuners and I've used plenty of Graphite on the nut. So I'm guessing the Tremolo is the problem.
How should I set it up so that my Guitar stays in tune...
