Has anyone performed their own tuning from home? What type of software did you use? Are you able to tell the engine the pulley set up is different?

I would consider taking sct online tuning there are plenty of guys that have been tuning cars for a while, but they still can't tune a 3V because will be hard pressed....
software is what you need and a big goodluck to go with it.

After a detailed course run by Herrod's on the weekend we can offer the ZF trans tuning, Herrods has gone out and found what not to do and what to do with the ZF transmission.
This will speed up the process for all the tuners that attended there course...

As long as they know what and are comfortable with tuning the ZF now? also if i have a 6sp ZF in a worked xr6 N/a that currently will run a 13.8 the way it is now, will....
To be interesting to see what the results are with this new software.

Ive got 2 performance maps and the original map for my fabia vrs. I want to go back to my other tuned map as opposed to the tuned one thats on it. I know you can use kpps and galletto software that...

One is from blacksmoke and he provided the ecu other is from uk chip tuning or sommat or other .
Second option was done through obd2 port.

Check out PGMFI not really, i could use some help with Crome and Uberdata its kinda... .
A WBO2 is a MUST if you plan on tuning, you cannot tune without it.

I was wondering how sofware tuning works...
My car car dyno graph says 198kw and 593nm torque...
Arbees is not to far off, as is Most1ted's..
BUT Tobofueys car is over 700nm torque.. but also at 200kw..
I wonder... Are the tuners able to add fewer kilowatts...

You can reduce the Tq in favour....
And yes, you can "mix" your tune as musicians do.
You can tune of the engine so it boosts torque more than power...
For drag racing is different as tuning for the street and even for track circuit.

Do you guys know where I can purchase tuning hardware and software for the e46? To be honest I really just want to look at all of the maps (A/F and spark timing mainly.) I can tune cars and have A LOT of experience with performance electronics tuning ...

The E46`s performance, you`ll find that there are really no "tuning apps" that are worth the price) don't worry bob I just want something that lets me look at BMW's tuning on my computer for Ideas.
