I am buying a new laptop (big fan of Lenovo, so will probably stick with it), and see an option that for about $40 I can add a 2GB Intel® Turbo Memory hard drive cache. I am wondering whether it's worth it? Conceptually it makes sense, and it's not too...

I don't have much knowledge on Turbo Memory cache except for the fact that I've been using it(Lenovo 32bit T61 2Gig of ram and 1Gig turbo....
It might.
It'll certainly be worth it if this "Turbo Memory cache" is the same speed as normal RAM.

The compiler has no way of knowing if the constructor completed sufficiently for the destructor to run correctly .
If an exception is thrown in an object constructor, the destructor will not run .

On linux? Could you write them here? If turbo c++ isn't on the same place on on the emulated c drive it might behave like this.

Went into the BIOS and didn't seen an option in there, nor can I see one in any of the Lenovo software pre-installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Under System Performance, choose Turbo, but not Maximum turbo.
Intel Speedstep is enabled in the BIOS so it must the Lenovo Power Profiles desired profile, expand System settings.
Is 800Mhz according to CPU-Z).

I've ran P95) but it ust stay at around 3472 mhz .
It should be at 3.7GHz is turbo is enabled.

What is the turbo? Nice! he wont say, still testing and plans on testing different turbo's.
