Has anyone ever tried brining the turkey Tues. night...roasting it and carving the turkey Wed. and reheating it on Thurs.? If so I'd love to know if it's still moist or does it dry it out? I want to try Emeril's recipe from Food Network for brining and...

I will say that with brining, the leftover meat is always still pretty moist.
You might be able to get away with that if you brine, I have never tried it.

Does anyone know if you can brine(say chicken) then freeze or does that defeat the whole purpose of brining.

I would think that pure a brine would freeze.
brining increases contents of cells because water would "leave" the cells to "dilute" the brine.
Well, first to say I have NO experience in "brine then freeze" so....

I just ordered 3 for myself. I've made brine shrimp hatcheries for years by siliconing a bit of tubing in place on the bottom. after a while they leak, or get all gunked...

Every year we get a Hogans Turkey via Supervalu, it was the half price offer this year so turkey was 14.5lbs and the half price was €30, we were just talking the other night and DH was saying €60 as the full price sounded...

I got a half price hogans turkey xmas eve to cook the 27th it was around 14 or 15euro, full price was 30.
€50 for a 13lb here.It was lovely though,well worth the money .
€20 for a fresh 4kg or 5kg (can't remember) turkey from Tesco.
