How to turn jumper cables into inverter cables? my inverter cables are very thin. I read about someone cutting one end of a heavy gauge jumper cable and using it as an inverter cable by stripping the end of the wire. Has anyone done this before on this...

If you put bigger cables on....
Your inverter cables are thick enough to handle as big a load as the inverter can handle.
You take a pair of wire cutters and cut the ends off then you take a knife and cut bother.

Am i saving much power by turning my inverter off every night?
I religiously turn all un used sockets of as standard but wondered how much of a difference i am making by turning it off. Bit cold going into the engine room every night to switch it off...

I have to study my current depends on the amount of load the inverter sees on the AC side, how much it is off is hard to predict depends on the amount of load....
I will be better off with two more batteries and a 2kw inverter.

That didn't make any! Just like you said, there's a SMD fuse marked "P" a little below the connector to the inverter board=0B6MYXGL3hkfOZWVlYWZiOWQtOWM1....
To the inverter, just in case some lousy lead-free solder had cracked or something.
