My little girl is such a great eater. She devours turnip greens and black eye peas like a little piggy. I have never known of a kid to eat turnip greens, I did not acquire the taste until adulthood. Anyone else have a toddler with a healthy appetite? ...

I'm assuming that turnip greens would be similar to beet greens, if not then just skip the rest for tuna/chicken salad/bratwurst, etc.

Turnip greens also freeze well; just blanche them, Looks like Acne I wasn'....
When I cook turnip won't have near as much as you thought you did.
greens soon, I already Dehydrated some spinach and was pleased with the results.

I am confused on this.One site says one thing & the other tells you opposite .I read these greens are tough,hard to fully digest raw.And to get the potential nutrition these greens hold,they must be cooked or juiced.And they must be cut a certain way ...

TUrnip greens mustards dandelions etc depemnd on age and "strength" give a nibble that i purposefully cook to death.
But take longer.

I pulled in some turnip greens and lettuce from the garden today! I took a few leaves from each plant so that I could have a meal without killing my plants.
The lettuce had gotten pretty big and I think it needed to be trimmed. The Turnips were overcrowded...
