The tweed deluxe is actually a Tungsten Creama Wheat (20-watt)
So, that will function as the dirty side of the rig, and I'm looking for an amp for the clean side. I'm thinking a super reverb would be best, as its 40-watts would match the tweed's 20-watts...

If you're going to mess up an original tweed then
leave it alone and just get a 5E3 tweed.
No amp pro but I know enough to wonder why you would
even think of mod'ing original 5E3 tweed amp nice.
