Hello. I recently became the owner of a pair of HPM-100s. I hooked them up to find that the super tweeters (ribbons) do not work. So i pulled all drivers woofers and mids. I then pulled out the crossover.

How is it on the hpm900's any one know ? they have a different super tweeter.
They are for decoration mostly because "super-tweeter" was a buzz word at that time.
They work fine.

negative wire always have white strip from the amp so you can just hook up your new tweeters, as long as you wire both the same should be ok the wires you only have 2/3 inches....

tweeters and get speaker wires to them? The only way I would know how to do tweeters is put them in that sail panel position because they are already mountable and have wire right there waiting for them normally mount tweeters....

Then you'll see another screw under the tweeter grill pull that sucker..
The tweeter grill and you'll see the demister grill that goes into the door, in there is a screw pull that out and pull off that panel.

If it is truly can I tell if it is a 4 or 8 ohm tweeter? The number on the back of the magnet is not listed anywhere- 137 2623 measure the DC resistance....

I was told that the front tweeters are wired directly to the deck. I can not find any info saying yes or no. Any ideas or help. I am hoping that there 4 wires per door for the front speakers. Thanks a lot. Bill

Harness so I can add two more wires in each door harness for the tweeters from the crossovers, seperate wires to each speaker from under the drivers seat.
