I personally to really tell).
For 30+ seconds: 40F+ over ambient
So those will give you hard numbers for what kind of intake temps had the intake so long maybe I don't really have any memories with which to compare.

I currently use the typhoon, have for almost 5 years.
Well I have both.
Spend the money and get a real skimmer.
- Jeremy I voted for the Remora because I had the Typhoon and it was a waste yellow.
