How to develop app in Visual Studio and then deploy apps to Linux machine (OS - Ubuntu, web server - Nginx). Can any explain the steps, it will be a great help

I'm using VMware Studio 2 to create virtual appliances. Now we want to make an appliance of a 64 bit Ubuntu distro, but it's not in the template list, like Redhat 64bit and CentOS 64bit. Is there a way to do this?

Use a generic Linux 64.

There should be an option saying something like "DEB" or "Debian" as opposed to the RPM builds for the RHEL/CentOS ones you've already done, that's certainly how you do it from a command line .

You can add items to the applications drop-down by right-clicking on the "applications" (before opening... .
If you want to leave it local, just throw it in your home directory (or if you'd rather put it somewhere more "central", I'd suggest /opt/aptana/ ) .

I didn't it's set to "Ubuntu" and not "Ubuntu Classic" or anything else.

At Toshiba web site.They should be there.If you want to install older Ubuntu version,it is better to install 10.04 because it is LTS and next Ubuntu will be LTS too so you will be able to upgrade that on unallocated space install Ubuntu....

Has anyone used Ubuntu Studio? There is a flavor of Ubuntu called Ubuntu Studio, which features a bunch of pre-loaded Linux programs for audio, video, and graphics.

I've installed Ardour with the idea of experimenting, I'm not certain that I need to install the Ubuntu Studio.

How about someone write a guide to install Solaris Studio 12.2 on Ubuntu? I have found a couple of 12.1 guides but their directions don't quite match up what is needed for 12.2.
