I suffered from the exact same symptoms weekly (and really thought I was alone in this!) since I was a small child. Rotten Egg Burps (the WORST part) followed by nausea, severe cramps, vomiting, diarrea (diarrhea) , the works. Only after throwing up everything...

I heard somewhere that this is the product of the catalytic converter actually doing its job.
You shouldn't smell a converter unless something is wrong.

Thanks for reply, no aircon and only smells when heaters are on so not sure :/ ... .
Usually the cat when it smells like that, could just be some crap fuel rather than it's on it's way out.If the car has aircon sometimes this can cause a similar smell too .
