Not really a forum catagory for car stereo questions. I've been down this path before, so I know paying Best Buy to install stuff is painfully expensive. That being said, I'm no installer and don't have any friends who are.... I do have other options ...

I read in another thread somewhere that it could be an issue with the noise being amplified by the car stereo's amp that isn't audible through earphones that have no such amp.
