Hi,
I see today, in the client program I can update to v.7.01373, but in the console I see the last version is always the 6.0.1373 as you can see in picture attached..
Now we can update the program or not? I think is a problem on avast server...

For some reason Avast won't update the definitions files automatically. Currently I'm showing program version 7.0.1426 and virus definitions 120317-1 - which I think hasn't updated since I updated to 1426 as the old version wasn't updating.
Any ideas?...

I tried that before...
avast installed? What if you set the update proxy to none? Well, I tried all of them (before reSet avast! to: Direct Connection (No Proxy) I don't think that would work.

I unfortunately updated to the new version of Avast 7, however it's too buggy and I want to go back to version 6 which worked ok on my Win XP/SP3 system.
Does anyone have a download link to the older Avast 6 version?

Outlook frezes after I send each email.
Have to quit via Task Manager.
OL starts up w/o problem and can recieve email and the on I sent before the freeze has been sent.
It doesnt matter if I disable all Avast protection.
Now I will uninstall it...

I should add I use OutLook Contact Business Manager.
After uninstall Outlook works.
Avast has worked lika a charm before 7.

When i clicked on the notice from Cnet to update to Avast 7 free I keep getting error (0000) and advised that the insallation con't complete. anyone else with this problem ???. I love Avast

I installed Avast! Free Antivirus 7.0.1426 On Windows 7 (64-Bit) And I can't update the virus database, the update hangs on "Initializing" ... Is there some kind of fix I can use?
