I have Windows Vista and I have an ISO for Windows 7 Ultimate. Is it possible for the upgrade to complete if I just run the disc as a mounted ISO in my Vista install? Or do I actually need to burn a DVD?

This is a w7 upgrade question. i rebooted my os after i upgraeded to w7 pro from w7 home prem. i wrote down the product id and there was a spot to reinstall it. after the reboot i was not able to find the option to replace my product id. only the anytime...

If XP or Vista is not installed: 15.
When you have an Upgrade version - you need to have a qualifying version of Windows (XP or Vista) with a genuine license for the computer to use the Windows 7 Upgrade.

This is on the honor system.
Is Ultimate an Anytime Upgrade key? If so then under the EULA you can't use Home Premium while it is qualifying for the Ultimate Upgrade.
