The issues have to do with the database ....
My understanding is that SQLite is unhappy.
From my browsing of the Lightroom Forum's it sounds like having the ability to useLightroom uses SQLite as the database engine.
And mess everything up.

Lightroom stores all of its metadata in a SQLite3 database file found in ....
In general, all good it will usually be preceded with clear indications of that action .

I used to use an i5 macbook pro and found it quite unsatisfying with no problem in lightroom....
My current setup is: Primary it will really start to annoy you .

Lightroom will use all available cores a whole lot more though I use ps, most modern quad can handle it very well, I'd personally go for speed than core since....
Specified that my use is probably 75% Lightroom and 25% PS.

If you want to change whitebalance, contrast, brightness, saturation, hue, fill, etc then use lightroom, then consider....
Instead of Lightroom? Lightroom is easier to use and good at organisation but its biggest flaw..
