Lightroom 4 is 1 more than 3 = better Agreed.
Just wondering if anyone here uses network storage at home for their lightroom library and what their experience is like with performance, reliability and ease of use. Also if you could explain your setup that would be awesome too. Thanks!

I use LR to organize & manage all raw (.psds or tiffs or whatever) separated....
That way all the lightroom catalog stuff will be in one folder, and I can also open sessionMy workflow may be similar to what you're considering...

Lightroom does have spot removal and an adjustment brush at The Canadian Photography Learning Centre....

So Google Drive is finally here with, and as far as I can see has the best prices for cloud storage available at the moment. With all my music backed up to Google Play Music, the only things of significant size that I would really miss with a hard drive...

It seems to me that Lightroom 3 had one) Moire adjustment connectivity with iPad....
LR 3, ps4 spent a lot of time with both over the last few months .
My hardware spec is a non-issue.
use v4, when I process a small job, less than 100 files.
Photoshop +/v Lightroom? Does Lightroom work with Photoshop or is it a separate package? If it's a separate package, then which is the better one to have? Thanks

I have an older version of Photoshop than Lightroom....
You can move from lightroom into photoshop to edit.
Lightroom 4.1 is a combination Archive and Raw processor serious retouching Photoshop is your man.

This may sound like an idiotic question but I purchased Lightroom 3 a couple of weeks ago before Lightroom 4 was officially out, and now have the option to return LR3 for LR4 for $3 plus shipping. I have not installed LR3 yet and have never used Lightroom...

Now that they have reduced, but I will bet that improves... .
I think for you and for most photographers Lightroom 4 is nearly a no-brainer.
I was against learning how to use lightroom but now I love.
But at $149 it is a bargain imo.
