I recently updated from Vista Home Premium SP2 to Windows 7 Home Premium.
Now I need to re-install my Adobe Photoshop 6 to be able to upgrade to Photoshop 7.

I need Photoshop for my iPhone game development and I use Mac OS X.
All I have to do actually is to cut out Objects from JPEGs and convert them into an PNG with alpthatransparency for the iPhone, so that they look nice in my layers.

Version 7 was released for a much older version of OS X when when macs shipped with power pc processors....
This pretty much requires you to use Photoshop CS3 (which is, if the version numbering were consistent, Photoshop 10).

I'm used to applications allowing you to perform multiple undos at once with Ctrl-Z. I've found that at least the default setting in photoshop is only a single undo. How do i change this (im a photoshop newbie)?

Photoshop has a " Step backward " function that can be accessed by SHIFT.
Edit>Preferences>General
Redoc not want to change this.
I use photoshop 7 but should be similar in any later versions.

Sort the Task list by CPU and then watch which programs bubble up to the top of that list as you work in PS .
Have you done any troubleshooting out side of PS? For instance, you can right-click the Windows Task bar and select "Task Manager" .
