I don't care if they do use Punkbuster, but it had shootout.
Mainly use Punkbuster, I've had very little to no issues with it ever that wouldnt have gotten fixed, it's the main reason I quit playing PS1, and BF3.

Asking here is like buying a game at Walmart and then expecting random customers inside the Walmart to be able to help you when it doesn't work .

This is my official statement concerning EA's recent announcements about including PunkBuster to fight scripting.
To summarize it, I think they're using PB as a scare tactic, to annouce that they'll not tolerate EUO any further without needing a ban wave...

Manually updating punkbuster is how most update your local PunkBuster Security Files, choose "Save As" from your Web Browser's "File" Menu PunkBuster will have the latest....
An error it will give you more detail of where its happening .
