I use a Wacom Bamboo fun tablet. I would like to jot notes using the tablet's pen. What software do you recommend for this? Handwriting recognition would be a plus.

Unless there's a way you can connect the tablet to your desktop via USB (or firewire?), and there is a device driver that allows the tablet to function as an input device, it probably isn't possible might be able to use Input Director....

I think this is the year when I finally give in and buy a tablet. In addiition to using it for all my casual gaming and video watching needs, I want it to be an integral part of my game mastering toolbox (PDFs, web access to SRDs, the whole shebang).

Two guys in a band I play in use their iPads along with these to clip the device to a microphone stand, and they use it for rehearsal charts.
