Are there any livecds/liveusbs with virtualbox or vmware (or similar) installed on them? I wonder if i could have livecd with virtualbox which i could use to boot my vdi images without configuring host...

I'm curious if it's possible to retrieve the license keys of a Windows XP machine from within a LiveCD environment in Ubuntu. Normally, if I was in Windows, I would just run Magical Jellybean Keyfinder, but is there some way to do this from within a LiveCD...

If you just wait a really long time, xubuntu will give up trying to access /dev/sr0 , and then the live-usb image will boot .

Edit by default, so there's no trouble if you use your favourite distro for this purpose..
I use ubuntu and it will work in your case too.
