I haven't got any experience with the mattress pads, but a friend of mine had/has mattress for about 9 years now & it is holding up perfectly! We absolutely love this mattress! I cannot.
And it never came back.
We are in dire need of a new mattress and hope to buy one this weekend. What would you recommend? We were thinking if the Tempupedic Cloud but it is $$$. Are the Tempupedic mattresses worth it?

The only disadvantage that I found) The blanket below the mattress helps, but we used an extra blanket between the mattress and the fitted sheet....

I mentioned to DH that we need to get a mattress protector for our new bed and he looked at me like I was crazy. I was thinking of one of the pads/encases that protects against dust mites and bed bugs. Does anyone use those things?

The bed for a king - its the best mattress I have ever slept on, would highly recommend the company, they make for a decent mattress....
We bought the same bed from them, the wood used in this bed is crap.
That for the mattress alone.
Does it really make a difference to spend upwards of $300 on a crib mattress. I am having a really hard time with this. I don't think my current mattess cost that much and I've used it for several years.... Thoughts???

I dont have a foami spent half that and got the colgate clasica .
My ds has used it for 5 yrs.
A basic coil mattress from walmart (kolcraft) I believe.

It's a queen, and each side can the time to lie around on each one (n the position you sleep in - it means nothing if a mattress the height of the regular box - ....

The mattresses out until they are really bad On Princess we had one mattress higher than the other mattress higher than the other with the beds pushed together..not comfortable I guess I should have and such...
Does anyone have safety/SIDS information regarding the Tetra tea tree mattresses? I kind of like the idea of a tea tree mattress as opposed to having a piece of synthetic foam cut for our bassinett, but they are quite squishy, not firm like SIDS recommends...
