Is there anywhere I can purchase used embroidery hoops? I am most just needing the bottoms of the hoops. I bought a used machine and a lot of the hoops were broken.
Thanks

I am not aware of any current versions.
I've used with the bottom hoop, but it still probably would have required holes.
And file holes in your bottom hoop then paint or lacquer the worked edges to prevent rusting.

I bought Spaceman Junior a sixties Acrolite, the hoops are rusting and we already gave them the wire wooling treatment but the rust is back. What might be used for replacements, anything special? (the body of the drum is fine, being aluminium).

Hi Everyone,

I have used Gary in the past as well, who also does superb work! I should also mention.
It'll be in 2 bits for each hoop as they don't make it long enough to do (eddieryancustomdrums.co.uk).
Width i'll cut it and post it.

I used zip ties to hold it in place and heat in....
More space and braiding the top branches and tying the bottom stem together .
For a particular pelt so it may be easier to make a few hoops then use a hide that fits the hoop.
