X264 MKV's stutter like crazy, and VC1's often don't.
But I guess the CPU demands are far less for this .

Misschien wel goed om deze topic te openen met blu-rays die zo slecht zijn dat er macroblocking te zien is.
dvd.nl erkend ook het merendeel over de macroblocking en posterisatie van de genoemde blu-rays.
De meeste blu-rays hebben wel een uitstekende kwaliteit...

De screenshots van de VC1 tonen toch al veel beter als die van de mpeg's; das een feit meegerekend).
E1 released toch enkel Blu-ray's met de VC1 codec? Ik snap het probleem hier dan toch niet.

- 1280x720-50p - in ordinary computers
- 1920x1080-30p - in powerful computers...

M2ts files contain either mpeg4/10 (h264), VC1.
Ffmpeg chokes on interlaced VC1 option -sameq commonly results in files twice as big.
All these are supported in mpeg4 mpeg2-ts container.
Or mpeg2 video.
