I am trying to play a .mov file in VLC player, I am able to hear the audio but not able to see the video content. In the top left corner i see the vlc icon and then VLC (Direct3D output), Any suggestions please

I am going to assume other video files play just fine in VLC and this is a problem specific, but less annoying quicktime....

How do I get VLC to play on the second monitor on Windows? On Mac OS, there is an option in the video menu "fullscreen video device". Windows doesn't seem to have that option.
There are various options in the DirectX settings that let you select a monitor...

I'm not familiar with VLC motion sensor combined with the fact that VLC has a very small playback buffer out of the box with the Linux port of VLC here....
There is a delay that can be long enough to leave a gap in the music playback .

LPCM audio wont play in VLC . I have tested the file with the correct codec XDCAM (in Quick time player and its fine)
Video> You can get the codec from Calibrated . I have the purchased XDCAM (xd5c is the codec) from Calibrated and VLC plays the video...

OK I"m running VLC 1.1 now and when I try running a DVD Folder (the VIDEO_TS folder) or a *.ISO of a disc, the opening menu doesn't work, I can see the highlighting and I can play things from the menu. But if I go back to the menu, it will show a freeze...

Hey I got two issues with the vlc plugin
1) There are no controls !!
As you can see one can't switch to full screen or fast forward etc. The normal keybindings don't work either.
Without controls the plugin doesn't make much sense does it?

Installed Debian AMD64, Squeeze, KDE4 using the netinst CD.
Downloaded an ogg video file and noticed that the video is very distorted when played in VLC and smplayer.
Other file formats like mp3/mp4/mpg/avi etc works fine.
Any idea what packages/video...

VLC is able to play the ogg file, but skipping ahead while and installed smplayer and ....
VLC contains the needed codecs required to play ogg formats, so most likely, I am guessing and Smplayer in Debian and reinstalled them.
