Forward your VPS port 80 to destination port 8080.
Make sure youYou can use an SSH tunnel.
Otherwise, you can just do a tunnel on the VPS and keep it alive before you go to work.

I recommend changing the default port, using key-based authentication and disabling... .
Also, you should secure your SSH access as soon as possible .
Howtoforge is a great place for this.
You should be looking up tutorials for the various systems you will require .

just doesnt work I think the cost of having a Windows VPS is probably better than the cost to run inside it just fine (it was a linux vps inside a linux vps).

When running TOP on our VPS the idle CPU usage number doesn't change. Is this a property of a VPS?
