Advancing the valve timing manually... Hello, i just thought id ask this as i dont know if its ever been asked but... How come nobody asks/says about advancing the timing slightly on the cams at such as timing belt time? Obviously i know the valves operate in interference with the piston crowns... Variable Valve Timing, on our 8 valve motors. Is this possible via the EMS, by way of advancing the spark? I know it's not valve timing per se, but wouldn't it have a similar effect?
