Is it possible to produce veg crops in your garden without spraying them?? Also, is it possible to produce main-crop spuds (roosters) by just spraying for blight??

Having much higher veg plot you walk along the rows....
For disabled people etc.
Raised beds also warm up on a veg patch, not to build the beds up significantly.

Hi, Its a little early for everything but the potatoes, we are still getting frost and we have had the ground covered in order to warm it up but again the weather is miserable so thats not working, Give it a few weeks - start things off in small pots ... .
I try to be self supporting in veg, but always fail. We run out mid Winter then nothing until early Summer except frozen. Any suggestions as to which veg can be grown to fill the late Winter and early Spring months please? I have lost all my Spring cabbages...

If like me you are having no luck with some of your plants, B&Q are selling veg & flower plants at half price. This morning I picked up 12 Cauli, 12 Cabbage & 12 Swede for 99p per punnett, I also picked up 24 Petunia for £2.50p A bargain me thinks.

Veg plants were £1.50 a strip at the Plant Fair this morning on to try and get more strawbs i might have to pop in b&q or other garden centres to see if they have any veg on offer apart from some very mottled....

Has anyone made their own version of innocent veg pots? My friends rave about them but I never bought them as they are so expensive however, I found a coupon for £1 off and tesco had them on offer with 50p off so I decided to treat myself. It was scrummy...

Rice recipes for the bottom and any on offer cheap veg boiled for the top??? But I have never had one home made one, and people at work even commented how it looked like an Innocent veg pot but nicer stews are just anything I find languishing....
