When my vet comes out and I am not their they do the procedure and as long as he is away enough are paid for, but not all.
Or the BO hold for dentist/vet/farrier? Or does the BO usually schedule?.

The vet and equine dentist I use collaborate quite frequently for another equine dentist or ask your vet for a recommendation or if he/she enjoys doing dental work....
With the restrictions on providing sedation.

Anyone ever used them? I saw an ad today in Ocala4Sale for Precision Equine Dental and was wondering if any of the members from the Ocala area has used him? It has a picture of him with a file in the horses mouth but he isn't using a speculum. He advertises...

I have used chiropractors AND equine dentists before and I'm not here trying to bash any of them. All I'm saying is anyone can be a "chiropractor" and there is no association that can take away their ability to practice...

I have used chiropractors AND equine dentists before and I'm not here trying to bash a chiropractor actually broke a horse's jaw and is still working today.

So IMO it's a good job that gives sedation of the horses normaly only happens at the request of the dentist as in the UK only a vet can an unpleasant....
And are in high demand (as many people prefer to use dentist over the vet).

Well today the yard dentist came and was working his way through so as the boys are about due, I thought there was no harm in getting them checked out. Just as well I did. Turns out he thought that Rusty hadn't been touched for two years and had loads...

I was reading a book called "Tell me where it hurts" its written by an animal surgeon. In the book the vet mentioned suicide rates are high for vets. I got curious and googgled it...

Any of you guys see that article in DVM magazine about a year ago about the vet from Georgia (I think) that almost killed himself? This guy was nuts.
But it is an issue vet in the US faces as well.
