Hi,
What I do is burn .avi and .mpeg video files to DVDs via the Data Disc option in Nero. So I can fit a lot more files on one disc, and it burns quicker. Instead of converting these files to DVD that is.

Ok, well the conversion is going very slow.
Google for a DVD player that plays videos burned to a DVD via data disc instead of encoding them, thats to any thing or to Divx for your DVD player medicoder ? or MediaEncoder.

It will convert pretty much any video software for burning videos onto dvd's (also require it for burning MP3 to create an audio CD and burn DATA discs or DVD....
For putting AVI/MKV on DVD, I personally use ConvertXtoDVD .
