Well, I hope this doesn't make me seem like a bad guinea pig parent, but I've never really cleaned out my girls' water bottle. I rinse it out every time I fill it up, and I scrub it out with vinegar some times, but that's about it. But now I need to know...

I give them a good soak in vinegar and water and then a soak in plain hot water.
Depending on the amount it can be dangerous.
Method above, use vinegar, or...use the dishwasher (if the temp is hot enough to disinfect baby.
How do you disinfect living space like an apartment or condo? I'm not talking about simply just cleaning the walls with soapy water.

It is cheap and works wonderfully vinegar was suggested! It's what I do everyday....

Following removal of stones from tank - it/they should not be put back into the tank but into a separate appropriate container which, as well as the tank, contains a sanitising tablet enabling any bacteria to stop multiplying - hopefully, before washing... .

I use the counter but I love the vinegar....
Then roll out, then soap/water and rinse.
1 cup white vinegar dough, I use vinegar then rinse then dry.
My countertop cleaner is equal parts vinegar and water.

vinegar and eat a piece of bread with honey and cinnamon.
Two things first, you need to rinse chlorine with hot water or it leaves a residue. second, you can do a brief soak in oxyclean to neutralize the bleach. vinegar + bleach = bad idea

That's how I always disinfected my bottles and in this case....
I think the high temp will eliminate it.
I would throw them all in the dishwasher with no soap added .
The sun is an amazing deodorizer.
Try leaving them out in the sun for a couple days .
