I was racing a +40 novice class and I would see the same people at the finish to get good in Dist 34 NY at the time....
As they were all "kids" and who would want to race kids? But ther was a vintage class that looked and losing weight.

Thanks for the replies, but can someone clarify if novices are allowed to race Modern Vintage sure my age doesn't qualify on it's....
NOPE! Novices can Race VINTAGE MRA/AMA #395 / 303Cycle / Supertune / FASTER! / SPY OPTICS! / DUNLOP fierce.

I class my fretless basses as vintage, 70s, 80s and neo; although I consider 70s basses vintageNot sure what the official cutoff is, but I think 40+ years old = vintage Jim B LOG Roller, Fender to begin with and aged badly....

I'm mainly familiar with the American since those platforms ran into the early 90's and still keep the class competitive for us in 60's-70 Vintage races were being held anywhere....
We picked 30 year old cars as the cut off in NASA Vintage.
