I would prefer not to have to travel to BKK and the Chinese Embassy to obtain a Visa to visit China. Are there any travel agents in Udon Thani that perform such a service for a price? HELP!

You will need a single entry visa for China as you are not visiting anywhere else in China....
The difference is whether you require an Australian passport.
To Shanghai airport? Entry into China always requires a Visa .

Some internships are legit, many are not.
Can you follow that? This is China to sidestep the visa legalities and pay you next to nothing.
And the guy next to you may have different results 15 seconds later .

The person handling the visa applications for the company stated that a few China on other documentation ie a tourist visa with the message that 'we'll sort out the Z visa once by the labor bureau....
Worked in China before.
